The Israel Defense Forces on Monday morning intercepted two unmanned aerial vehicles near the Jordanian border.
According to the IDF, the UAVs did not cross into Israeli territory. “The origin of the launch is under review,” it said.
No air-raid sirens were activated, “in accordance with protocol,” the military added.
Separately, an official Jordanian military source told Amman’s Petra News Agency that Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft shot down two drones “targeting the kingdom.”
The military source said the interception caused no casualties or material damage.
